Vacuum Technology
An electric vacuum pump or ejector pump pumps out the air which creates the desired vacuum level. When a suction foot is placed (airtight) on an object, e.g. a cardboard box, the result is lower pressure. The difference in pressure makes the tube contract vertically and the object is lifted.
